Hello all-

I'm looking for a BSA unit twin frame (a/k/a A50 or A65). A swingarm and rear wheel would be nicer still, but I'll take whatever I can get. I'm not building a concours masterpiece. I don't care what the condition is, as long as its straight, not rusted in half, and hasn't been subjected to evil backyard chopping efforts that result in raked necks or hardtailed rears.

I've been directed by the voices to build a Tribsa roadracer for the USCRA's 500 GP class. BSA twin frames pop up on eBay from time to time for reasonable prices, but shipping presents ofetn an issue. In fact, there's just such a frame on eBay right now (opening bid of a buck) that the seller won't ship from Oklahoma. Therefore, I'd REALLY like to find a frame somewhat local to Massachusetts.

Thanks for listening and for not telling me what a bad idea I have.

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Just kidding. I bet if Aaron (on the board here) can't help you himself, he can probably let you know about someone in Mass. that can. I don't know the extent of what he has for sale right now, but have you tried Hutchinson Cycle?

i have an a65 swingarm and QD rear wheel (with 1 broken spoke), brake drum and axle. unfortunately i don't have the brakeplate or any other hardware. the swingarm is chromed and has been machined to take roller bearings, but the bearings are MIA. i was going to try to graft this setup onto a featherbed frame for my triton but after mocking it up the BSA swingarm is way too long. its up for grabs, if you're interested email me [email protected].

I've been looking around through my stuff and have almost nothing for twin stuff anymore. I mostly have BSA single stuff. You might want to try Hutchinson Cycle 781 245 9663.

Sorry, Aaron
