Well guys,
I'm going to do it. Picked it up this week! I bought a 1/2 carret diamond engagment ring for the little lady. I just need to figure out how/when I am going to give it too her. I now have moved from the level of poor to broke Azz poor. I've been reminding her that when we do get married the rules don't change at all. Bikes are allowed in the house but no riding them.
In other news since she gets a ring I figure of what the heck I should be able to get a new toy. I sold my cb360 and yellow rd400/350 combo to pay for the ring. I am building a mono shock rd400 using a RZ350 swingarm and shock from a wreck. Doing a street fighter look on this one. Just all business, nothing for comfort at all.
later!

Nah,
I told her that I'm always going to have the Sanford & Sons look to the back yard. Well its not that bad yet. She's pretty cool about my motorcycles. Tell me how many of your wifes, or signif. others would help you carrier a motorcycle down a flight of stairs into the family to keep it inside for winter? I knew she was the right one for me after she did that the first time.

we kept my race bike next to the bed in our tiny-town 1 bedroom apartment in boston. the project bike sat in the living room. and i had 2 bikes on the back stoop. we packed my first motorcycle into the back of my s10 blazer and drove 400 miles with the windows up to boston in mid winter. and that was only after i knew here for 2 months. girls just love motorcycles.

Joec,
Sounds like my appartment that I had before I moved into my house. I was in a upper at a huge complex and I had my 350 cafe raer in my bedroom, and that silver cb550 sitting in peices across the living room and kitchen table. Try to explain that one to the land lord... The hard thing was trying to get a assembled cb550 down a flight of stairs in the middle of the night. The cool thing was the little lady (we weren't living together), didn't really even care. I have to aggree with you there. chicks like bikes. She's always pointing out a bike here or there asking what it is. I guess only some men are lucky enough to have a hobby they can share with there mate.
