well $300.00 for a non running bike, with no title, probably no key, in that condition, that is as odd-ball as that suzuki is would be a little much for me to pay, but if your really wanting to do it, then fuckin' do it. what do you want our advise for? you already made up your mind.

on making the pipes. go for it. i assume you have all the rolling, bending, and welding tools for it, have lots of sheet metal and tubing stock laying about, and a good sense about you on expansion chambers and the physics knowledge it takes to create a remarkable exhaust that makes low, mid, & high range power.

but no derek, we know nothing about you, other than you have 13 posts because you won't even fill out your profile.

so, good luck, have a blast. looks like a sweet-ass project in capable hands. all it will take now is large infusions of cash.

cheers,

tex

p.s. - FNG.....fill out your profile, it's polite, it's friendly,
it's proper!

you can't even pretend to help those who don't want it.

T350s are neat bikes. But no title, not running, and a good chance the crankseals are bad - keep looking.

i was kidding about the pipes. even though they are ugly ill still rock em. im going to offer 200 and its not hard to get a title here when you know the person that last registered the bike. i dont expect the motor to be good and this will be pretty close to a full build.

thats a sweet looking bike. if you change the "img" tags to lower case then they will work.

i went to look at it today. so disappointing. it has rust through the frame underneath.. something i didnt want to deal with so i walked. good thing that im not in a hurry to buy eh?

steven is planning on posting the bike on ebay later in the summer. the tank an seat were vandalized so he is repairing it and giving it a fresh coat of midnight blue. i'd buy it myself but i think he's going to ask more than i can spare. there is a short clip of it on youtube under vintage burnout. that's him burning up a tire the day before getting his avons.

Hey Snorkelfork,

How is Fang these days anyway? Let him know the Sundial crew sends their regards.

What you can't see in this picture:

is the cool Honda tank Steven modified with indents and set up to take the winged "S" Suzuki badges. The bike also has dual 5 inch headlights, and a single gauge off a T20 Suzuki that has both a tach and a speedo. A sweet little bike with a lot more power than you would think a 315CC mill would make.

That's a CX500 tank - I bought one not too long ago for my own project.

The video on youtube of that bike is fun to watch. I credit Fang with igniting my then-dormant motorcycle phase with that burnout.

I was actually looking for a GT750 or a T500 before I found my CB450. The many warnings I read about replacing crank seals on those bikes (plus since mine came with a title for $50 bucks) led me away from the Suzukis until I got a little more bike wrench time under my belt.

I *will* own a triple-two-stroke. Someday soon...I can only resist the smell of a castor-burning H1/H2 or GT so long...maybe even an RD...

yep cx 500 tank indents are stock on tank ,I have had lots of people ask me how I indented mine ..wink wink. That tank rocks as its big fits alot of cbs with minor mods (add material to the "C" shape retainers in the front so it can reach the stock rubber cups in the front and make up your own bolt with rubber grommets in the rear .I also found the cb360 petcock works the best on this tank.
well no title id find a frame with a title and swap parts problem solved my friend those bikes are getting hard to find ...whole!
