Scott,
Is this a cam that has been modified for a needle bearing?
Point side is normal...but the tach side seems way oversize (for OEM cam). Last time I checked both ends of the cam were the same size (within a few thou).

I've got a few sets...( some NOS too) but I gotta admit..owning three bikes that use these bearings I kind of hoard them. Although I don't think I've ever had one go bad....yet.
In a pinch, David Silver usually has some NOS copies around.

I'm counting my CB160 Giro bike...which can use the same cam bearings. In fact...I prefer CB160 cam bearings on my race bikes. Actually I don't think I've ever used 175 bearings on a 160, but I have used 160 bearings on a 175. There are some minor differences, not enough to matter from what I've seen so far.

So....basically the condition of the bearings doesn't matter? Cause you are going to press in the needle race anyway? Cause I may have some around that aren't up to snuff for race use without needles.

You are going to have to bore out the tach side though...cause that's larger than they are stock. I'll take a look at the parts bin.
