Hey, So- I'm new.

I just bought this. Super fun to ride. But would it be lame to do anything with a CB125?

Anyone want to lead me in a little direction? Any inspiration?

Nice clean little bike.

With a few changes it could be a cool little bike to buzz around in a city.
These guys should make some go fast parts for it.

Try to get about 30 lbs or so of weight of it, and a few go fast parts and it would be a decent bike to turn into a mini-cafe.

what are you talking about? that thing is cool as shit. you will get just as much attention as a bigger bike just because it's so small.

also if you edit your post so that the IMG's are lower case img's your photo will post correctly

thanks guys. i'm pretty syked on this thing. it's my first bike, so i had to figure out how to ride it. never rode a dirtbike either.

i just got home from a trip to japan last month and was so into all the cafe style bikes they rode over there so i went out and found this. thought it was a good start.

the front forks don't leak, but they need new boots. i figure while i'm getting that done, i'll just have them rebuilt. thats really it. fires up on the first kick. in fact, i have been out of town for the last 10 days, came home yesterday morning- jumped on it, first kick- fired right up.

so, i guess my first step was going to be these:

and just trim them down a few inches. i don't know what i should do with the front and rear turn signals. i want turn signals, but not ones that stick out so far and are so bulky.

you really ought to run searches....

it is a small bike, my issue is with big bikes and clubmans so I am just going to keep quiet.

i thought for sure it was a joke. the way he said first thing, and i'm gonna these here knarly CLUBMANS! it was like he wanted to get torn a new balloon knot.
but back to the innocent bike...its very clean and would be happier with some racey touches. just don't make it tacky.

so, what your saying is leave the handle bars alone? or, are there any other options?
i'm just figuring that i'll leave the motor alone for now since it's running so strong. i'm sure i'll want faster sooner then later.

One of the first things I noticed when I joined was that Geeto has a bit of aaaa, shall we say aversion? to clubman bars. Says that real men install clip-on's...

You got off easy. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Oh yeah, real men probably don't use smileys either.

Where the hell are all my 10mm wrenches?
