just got home, thats chris on the 250 duc. is number 12 that guy from canada? i cant remember his name. i could be wrong though. i dont know who #12 is.
337 is CMarsh,#12 is Gary Morell. He is from CT, USA and he worked at Marsh Motorcycle in East Windsor. He lied about his age to run at Gunstock(Loudon) in 1962(he was 15). REALLY nice guy with a ton of knowledge regarding narrow case Ducati's. I learned alot from Gary when I started racing with the USCRA in 1984. I miss him around the paddock!!!
that's one of the first times marshall rode one of uch's ducs up at nhis. i remember that suit with the ? marks. i haven't seen pics like that in a while. thanks champ.

i love you man but check the results of the 98 usvgp race again...you got the wrong winner. but i actually think it may have been usvgp 2000. that was gary morell's last year as he broke his bike in that race and was "all done" after that. you've got to have a date on that pic somewhere...

of course c marsh thinks it was '99. that was the (only) year he beat me. (my son was a couple of months old...must have been a momentary loss of focus)(that's a lame excuse). hope the marsh man comes back to nhis, even just to visit. if i go to daytona, am sure he'd show me the way. he always had a well prepared bike and a good attitude. tell him a said hi.
