I just gave may carbs a clean on my 74 CB360 Twin and I have some questions. I started taking the carbs apart and they really didn't seem to bad. There was some shitty yellow coloured gas in the float bowl but other than that they seemed OK. I cleaned the needles, needle top, main jets, idle jets, atomisers and float bowls with acetone. Is there any other parts that I'm missing here? As I said they actually look surprisingly clean. I'm also going to go with K&N filters when I reinstall them. I was told that I might just try adjusting the needle rather that re jetting for just the filters. But the needles don't have the typical circlip on them allowing them to be adjusted. So do I need to get a different needle? Or should I just bump up the main jet a point instead? currently the carbs are running 100 main jets. does a 102 sound about right for just a K&N filter? I'm at around 1000 feet ASL. I'm also thinking about pulling out the weird ass tub system from the stock mufflers (just until I can afford some nice pipes) making things sound a little meaner/louder. But if I did that could that require re-jetting aswell?

Thanks.

honda has the jets. cv carbs dont have adjustable needles. i think mains go in increments of 5's. so 105 would be the next jump. (i think the 360 has cv carbs?)
