my boss was kind enough to let me borrow his carb syncronizers in order to tune my cb350 twin. you know the ones full of mercury. He explained that they should be connected to the carbs between the slide and intake port, but where actually? The stock keihins do not have an acceptable place to attach them. what am i missing here?

not sure, but I do not think you can do it with those carbs. Why would you, anyway?

well after doing a search i learned that the cv carbs basically sync themselves while throttle is open, but what about air/fuel mixture and initial throttle opening at/from idle? wouldn't these things be affected by "butterfly" position, which is what my throttle cable is actually controlling. That is what i am concerned with. holding my hand behind the pipes to gauge exhaust pressure does not seem like the best way to get an accurate reading....I don't want to sound like an ass but i'm just walking it through in my head trying to think of what i'm missing
