I was wondering if getting the head decked on my cb 350 would add a good amount of power, or if there is a nother motel that of cb head that will be more effective.

There's a lot of stuff you can do to get more power out of a 350.

I don't have much to say about decking your head for power gains, I've had to do it for a warped head and everything worked out fine. Most go the overbore (check ebay for kits) and lopey cam route. A poor man's cam upgrade involves switching over to a Type I (a.k.a. '69 CB350) cam and valves. From what I know the Tyoe I cam has a little more radical grind...

All the cool kids go for the Megacycle Cam + Todd Henning Racing (http://home.earthlink.net/~toddhenningracing/index.html) performance upgrades, but be prepared to spend some duckets.
