Hey guys anyone know a good website for cafe racer parts? I have a beautiful 1976 CB 750 SS I am turning into a cafe racer. I am looking for cool parts and places to buy them.
Also does anyone know how to safley mount rubber tank knee pads, like the ones on a bonneville to a honda tank?

Thanks for any help and any cool suggestions. I am planning to post pics and stuff as I go.

For CB750s, you are not going to find a lot of new stuff, still better stuff out there than most bikes.

As for the knee pads thing it depends on the kneepads. Personally the shape of a stock honda tank looks dumb with knee pads (trust me I've tried) unless you cut or dent the proper indentations. It is all fab work, so if you are close to NYC I'll be glad to help you out. Cb750s are my specality (I own about 4 right now including two cafe racer supersports) so I am glad to help.

carpy is a great source for newer stuff, as is cycle exchange (more toward honda choppers) http://www.cyclexchange.net/ . Omars DTR can be pricey and Airtech has allt he cool fibergalss CR750 racing tanks, seats and fariring.

Good Luck and don't be afraid to ask questions when you run into problems.

also check out some of the cafe racer's benji builds
