vermont in fall? foliage is the selling point. And BFD tells me there is a ton of antique shops up there. Ladies love antique shopping. I might bring the missus....

This is really a great Topic thread....I know that this post is old now, but can you, krapfever or someone, give me a little more specs of the aluminum plates taken from the CB250 Hawk? What model year could I find these plates? and is there a CL250 model year for the cablestay/kickplate? I am starting to build my racer CB160 on paper first......it seems that the ergonomics of this rearset setup is not as extreme as I have seen in other setups!quote:Originally posted by krapfever
Ok, a long overdue update. About a month and a half ago I swore I’d have her fired up by the 4th. She’s come a long way, but it may have to be Sunday before she starts.

The aluminum plates are from a CB250 Hawk; rearsets are basic Tarozzi’s.

Check the cable stay/kick plate—its from a CL250 and with a little cutting it was a perfect fit. What you can’t see is some machine work I had to have done to the footpeg. The threaded stud was too short so it was cut off the back and the footpeg was drilled and tapped to accept a bolt from behind.
