I just finished my first rebuild on a CB350 engine. Runs fine: got everything right! Took a short ride around the yard and it runs perfectly. Wait a minute! What is that puddle under the bike? Gas hopefully? NO! OIL! Serious leak around the head gasket. Tested the location with baby powder. Seems to be coming from the rear right side oil passageway area. SOOO, I need a source for the best topend gasket kit money can buy and any other tips anyone may have. Bike smells nice, like a clean baby!
BTW, torqued to 190 inch-pounds. This bike seriously overheated the cam carrier to the point where it was so distorted, the end cap on one side could not be reinstalled and the cam carrier had to be replaced. We are going to check the head surface for distortion when we get it apart (today hopefully).
