Hi all -

I need the rubber intake manifolds for my project. I believe the motor on my bike has been replaced (according to the previous owner) with a 500T motor, which I'm told is mostly all the same.

I need the rubber intake manifolds that go between the carbs and the cylinders.

Let me know!

1 wire hydraulic hose works great for what you need, If you can't find the proper boots go that route, I put them on my friends bike last year and they have held up great

Hey someone pas me the wrench........ Ahh screw it where is the torch

Your post said you needed the rubber intake manifolds that go between the carbs and cylinder. I assumed you meant the rubber boots that go from the carb to the intake runners that are bolted to the head. I was thinking of my friends 500 four. If fuzzybutt can't find them the best bet is a motorcycle scrap yard, If you give me the measurements I might have some kicking around from an old gs400 engine that might work for you

I also need the intake boots for my CB450. The salvage yard here has nothing but dry rotted boots on the bikes out back (Idaho desert). Does anyone know if the boots from other models will fit? A year or two back on the gs resources forums there was talk of a company making reproductions of various boots for the Suzukis. Anyone heard of such a thing?

I think Sudco or one of the other carb sellers has new replacement carb flanges for sale. Also I think the Yamaha xs650 flanges could work. The cl/cb450 and cb500t flanges are the same, there's lots on e-pay. If you make your own flanges and use hose, the silicone hose they make for comercial trucks is very good and will take alot of vibration and pressure, it's made to take high turbo boost pressure and cycles, comes in different sizes( sold by the foot) I've got some as small as 1" id.
