I'm listening...I just happen to have a Motoplat ignition - complete on a modified alternator mount that Todd Henning machined for me years ago for a project that never got off the ground. It has been bolted to a CB77 motor to see which fairing I had would fit, but never run. It's all new and complete with coils and needs a good home where it will be appreciated and affirmed regularly.
Actually I have a couple of Motoplat units complete with coils that I collected when we were racing TZ350s a few years back. They have both been tested and are like new and would slide striaght onto a TZ or TR Yamaha twin. Bikes were sold and spares sat on the shelf.
I should start to move this stuff. I also have a rebuilt CB77 bottom end with cases machined to take big bore cylinders and a stripped crank that has been significantly lightened. It's here somewhere among other abandoned - I mean postponed - project parts.![]()
