I've recently aquired a set of late model Yamaha R1 inverted fork cartridges and wonder if they can be adapted to fit inside my 35mm Ceriani GPs. The springs are the widest part of the cartridges but should be able to be changed for something a bit narrower. The top caps are also larger than the Ceriani's but it mght be possible to mill some new ones from some aluminum stock. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

So let me get this straight, you want to put a set of cartriges from a large inverted fork into your small convsntional fork, right? I'm sure anything is psossible but wouldn't it be easier to just get a set of cartirdges for a 35mm fork?
