The CG's were built in a bunch of places over a couple decades. Find a Honda engine decoder online and you can figure out where and when it was built. Get the VIN for the CB, figure out what you have. Get electrical diagrams for both and post them and it will be pretty easily solved.

These guys are good for parts.

The connectors can be changed just as long as your wires connect to the correct places, auto stores will have options for plug connectors. Ask for one that is easy to install and do the nicest job you can at it.
Look for stuff called heat shrink tubing for any wire to wire connections you need to make, it comes in different colours and that can be handy for identifying any custom connections.

... your horn is going to draw a lot more power then you might think, they are not very energy efficient.
