Hello,

I'm just about to start on my project this fall/winter. I was wondering if anyone out there could give me some advice or input about swapping wheels from aluminum wheels to spoke wheels.

Does anyone know if there's a model from Honda with spoke wheels that just "fit in" on my model CB250N-81. Disc brake front and drum brake rear.

All the best and pardon my bad English.

CB250RS should fit, years ago I used to do the opposite....fit Comstar wheels to the RS...as far as I can recall it was a direct swap except the rear sprocket didn't align by 5 or 6mm...[/QUOTE

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. If it would work, I'd be really happy. Biggest problem here in Sweden is finding it, the market here aren't to good when it comes to parts/spare parts.

Any tip where I would have a chance to find em? eBay or something similar?

Best regards.

Apparently they flogged 70,000 of them in the UK

... I would recommend looking at similar sized enduro type bikes from that same or earlier era, dirt bikes always use spoke rims and dimensions will be close enough to work with if you are shopping for 18" and 19" rims. The brakes will be shite but the brakes on your bike now are anyway.

You got a point, I don't know but I have a feeling that finding spoke wheels from an enduro could be easier. And as you were saying it is 18 and 19". Brakes you say, what brakes? :D Lucky for me the bike won't speed up more than 130km/h
