Well I was going to just chop it in half & make it a bobber fender but wanted something different so I decided to go custom & make it stand out a little & flame the rear fender. Heres some pics. I also got my cafe club bars & my rebuild kits for the carbs today , Piece by piece. Also got all the spokes painted black but they came out like crap & I may have to re do them that should be fun!!. I know this isnt everyones style but hey Ill try it , If I dont like it mounter Ill just bob it!! No loss but an hour or work!

Stay tuned for more, I should be painted all my primed parts in like 2 weeks.

Amen. He is from Toledo, you know.

Just fuckin' with ya whiteboy. I'm very familiar with Toledo & I'm glad you weren't offended by my east side Accusation. Whereabouts are you? We might have to meet up in say, Milan for a pint someday.

Bitch! I'd "Love it here" too if I lived in Point Place. We could almost claim you as a Michigander! I really wanted to buy the old firehouse (must be 5 yrs ago) when they built the new one. Think of the garage space!!! Toledo gets a bad rap. Let me know when that bike is on the road & I'll buy you a pint in Milan or Monroe.

HEll ya Judeyramone ill take ya up on a pint for sure. Point place is great & heres the funny thing I did live on the East side for about 5 years when we were going through times & I needed cheap rent , LMAO so your comment did work. Then we got our act together & bought a house in the point. Ya that old firehouse would have been AWESOME to make into a loft Apt house, man how cool would that be, Everyone wanted it though & the city wouldn't rezone it for Home living commercial only.

As for krapfever Ya I live behind Lee Williams meats well back farther off 125th st on the dead end , its so quiet I have like 3 people on my street. Your right The best Place Any Place is Point Place.

Keep in touch well all have to meet up next spring & get these cafe racers together for a picture. Ill bring the camera I have a Awesome Nikon D80 with the wide angle lens for group pics. Cant wait to get mine done.

Heres a couple pics of the new light house , I dont know how long you guys have been gone. Me & my wife have been collecting lighthouses & Nautical stuff for years, So we love light house pictures.

Flames look kind of cool...but..they are going to break off after a couple of months of riding. The vibration will stress fracture them where they join the fender, they'll get brittle, then fall off.

Yeah. But he could braze a piece of steel rod underneath each flame, to brace them. Just bend and curve a piece of rod to conform to each flame, then braze them on the bottom side of the fender. Then the flames wouldn't flex much.

Then he could put the fender on a Harley.
