Well....I can bend just about any size if I have the proper dies...about $200 a set. Problem is with my bending setup...the larger the OD pipe the larger the minimum radius I can bend is. At 1.5" OD the bend radius is getting close to the point where it would require quite a bit of imagination to make it work on a motorcycle.
From my experience once you get into bend radius(s) of greater than about 7-8" it gets hard to make the pipes go where you want...just not enough room.
Hirko might be coming over this winter to see if we can bend him up a set. It works like this....Larger OD = larger bend radius....thinner wall tubing = larger bend radius. I've gone to 16ga tube instead of 18ga because the 16ga bends better, and tighter, and holds up better...but it is heavier than 18ga. Craig will be taking a gamble...it's possible the money will get spent on the dies....and it just won't work out...then someone is out $200.
Eventually if I sell enough megs etc....I'll get a CNC mandrel bender that will do just about anything.
