I installed clubman bars on my CB550. The throttle and clutch cables are now of course too long. Has anyone done this before that can recommend a source for the appropriate cables?
I'm still stuggling with the clutch cable. There are adjusters on one end but those don't seem to do anything. Does the cable run directly from the lever to the clutch? There must be something to hold the cable adjusters like the throttle. Otherwise the cable is just floating there in space. Is my bike missing something?
I think I figured it out. Since I swapped a CB550 engine into a 500 frame, the motor mounts are different. I need the mount from the 550 to hookup the clutch cable correctly. Thanks anyways.
