What makes em come out?

350 Honda, probably been sitting for a long time. I ran it for about 15 miles, then the clutch seal blew out at the bottom of the driveway (thankfully). It looks in fine shape, so I stuck it back in with a little JB weld. Cleaned up the push rod etc.

But what made it come out? lack of use? Googah around the clurch actuating rod?

id say one of 2 things. either alot of gunk on the rod pops it out, or crankcase pressure. of course it'll only do that if its old. ive heard of racers blowing them out but i cant see how if you have a breather and the rod is clean. unless it fits like shit. but ive heard of them blowing out at the track. hence the rule.
