AHMRA runs vintage road race events on tracks in that area. You already missed the events at Roebling Road in Blomingdale GA and Taladega AL, but you could catch the events at Carolina MS Park in Kershaw SC on Aug 18-19 or Barber MS park in Birmingham AL on Oct 20-21. Search AHMRA to find their site and schedule. WERA also runs vintage meets, you could check their site too but they may be more north and north central than where you are (WV, PA, MI). Come on up to NHIS, it is only about a 15.5 hour drive from Charlotte, check out www.race-uscra.com for the schedule. Next event is next week on May 18, 19, 20. Friendly and helpful bunch of people, relaxed atmosphere and great racing. Worth the trip.
