went to jay peak after the banquet. my buddy mark crashed into a tree and fractured his neck. didnt find out til today. it happened on monday. he actually rode off the hill. and we're not squids totally. we were riding the expert runs, and weve done it for years. sucks but hes in a good mood. even beat me at a game of pool with his neck broken.

weve been emailing back and forth from the hospital. i told him i ran out and got him a box of straws.

hes doing fine, will just have a neck brace and no more snowboarding this season.
