I am searching for the Crosley powered road racer built by racers Strucher and Steinebech about 1964. The four cylinder auto engine was installed in what was probably a Yamaha Catalina YDS-3 frame. I am trying to find the bike or information about it. Any suggestions, or other places to try, on tracking down this old bike would be appreciated. Also please let me know of any other Crosley powered racer which may exist.

I have only seen one picture of it and that was in the Floyd Clymer book. I was inspired by it to start a build of my own. I have a Crosley Hotshot motor that I am modifying to be dry sump as well as a yds3 frame/chassis. I think I will link it to a atlas or later commando gearbox. I spoke with another bike guy that raced in the late 60's and early 70's and he remembered the bike but not the owners.

Still Searching for Crosley Powered Road Racer

Although it has been quite a while since my initial posting, I am still searching for the Crosley powered road racer mentioned in Floyd Clymer's book. Likewise my sole knowledge of this machine is that book, although I had been investigating the possibility of a Crosley engined bike on my own for some time. Again any suggestions locating this bike, or information about it, would be appreciated. I would also be interested in other Crosley powered bikes. In addition it would be great to hear about the progress of any "new" Crosley powered machines as well.
