Man,
I hate zombies. How are you going to handle them when they come?

I have a nice Louisville Slugger with their name on it. Also got a 3 ft. pry bar that will work in a pinch too. I prefer to be up close and personally when I kill zombies haha.

I'm all about a sword (they're quiet and don't attract more Zeds) or a suppressed 45ACP carbine.

Swagger,
I like the sword idea since dismemberment is one of the best ways to truly stop a zombie. I don't know that a 45ACP will destroy enough tissue to really stop one. The Louisville Slugger will work too since from what I have seen, zombies don't have a lot of structural integrity. It must have something to do with the rot and decay that comes with being the undead.

Yeah there's some logic there, but a Talon round in 45acp will more or less vaporize the cranial filling of a lifer, I'd think a Zed would spatter pretty well. The sword just has more style than a club though the 'Slugger does have a certain flair but you really need a Pabst in the other hand to make the ensemble complete.

Besides...I really want to shoot a Burt Reynolds or Rosie O'Porker zombie (cheesy movie reference)

I do wonder about the effectiveness of the talons at range though. I know up close and personal they are pretty friggin' evil but I wonder about accuracy beyond pistol range?

Swag... with a can o' Busch in hand (sorry Ken - new budget after all), second best laugh of the day.

Tex, you're a sicko. I love machine guns. Too bad I missed you when you were here in Feb. Make sure you let me know when you return.

Tey,
That 50 with some hollow points should be some serious Zombie destruction. If you got a whole herd of Zombies shuffling along in line like they seem to do, how many could the 50 penetrate with a single shot?

i'd say at least ten or twelve because of the rotting flesh and limbs.

Tex,
Thanks for the reply. Zombies are still a concern for me and cause me quite a bit of worry. More so than global warning, scientists don't even agree about that. There is no doubt about what kind of threat Zombies are. They will just grab you and start biting parts off. So you can worry about the amount of pollution and greenhouse gases a big rig puts out and its theoretical impact on global warming, but I know the kind of real impact it will have on a herd of Zombies. Try mowing down a shuffling village of zombified residents with your Prius.
