Hello guys, i have a honda cm185t. I want to transform it in a cafe racer. This is my first motorcycle and i don t have experience. I want to ask you if i can use the fireston champion deluxe tires (or something similar) on the standard rims(standard tire size 3.50x16 3.00x17). I saw a lot of cafe racer with this kind of tires but i don t know if they change the standard rims or they just change the tires and using the same rims. If somebody knows some others tires similar to firestone chmp deluxe you can tell me.

Thank you!

Do they even make those piles of shit any more? Thought for sure they stopped.
Hell they were not even street legal.

Those tires are shit, shouldn't even be used on the road.

Get the bike running properly, in it's stock form and learn to ride, repair and maintain the bike. Try the Vintage Honda Twins forum, it's new and has some of the most knowledgeable people around when it comes to your bike.

I used IRC tires on my CM185. They have a classic pattern, look great and the bike handles well. Besides painting the whole bike, I raised the tank 2" and built a cafe seat. Put clubman bars on it, all else stock.

About the Honda twins forum, there one or two people that will answer every post and all they do is insult the OP. I never got any practical information from that site.
