2001 Derbi GPR $1000.00

I raced this bike a couple times last year. Tires are new and the bike runs well. Has the Derbi EBE075 motor.

I have the title and bike is currently registered in NH.

they were imported by cosmo as either 50cc or 73cc. this one looks stock, with a slip on stinger. good price on this one. neat little machines. i sold all of my really go fast parts for these years ago. i had some good stuff.

don't forget to fill out your bio. basics are location and a real name. lame is when someone puts "USA."

good bike... if it is running a metrakit pipe... it may be sp kitted 68cc top end with stock crank and a 18mm carb. these are great machines for the track... kinda fun for a beach town too. the derbis are fast and in my opinion the best set up 50cc out of the aprilia and the rieju

reiju has no suspension... throw the front forks away and replace them with 30mm solid rod for an improvement. shit feels worse than a green machine. ape is better but the derbi is the best

god...I love my small displacement Derbi's.
If this doesn't sell in 2-3 weeks, after I get some more disposable income...I'll buy it.

The EBE075 motor...doesn't the "75" in the number stand for the 75cc calculated displacement and the EBE050 stand for 50cc? I have a 94cc Polini Evo big, liquid cooled that might fit this bike with little work. Depending on whether these engines are the ones with the ones with the 44mm or 43.8....something "mm" stroke and the 85mm conrod. It should be the same stroke and length as the Derbi Sendas though, I think. Maybe.

Midge,

Is that cable lock on the front wheel to keep it from getting stolen from your locked garage?

Damn, I am glad I live where I don't even have to lock my house door at night.

you live in a nice neighborhood too, don't you? Knock on wood I have never had a problem except the one time I left the side door of my van open(not just unlocked, but open) in the city parking lot and someone stole a camera out of it. There were tons of lights and other gear, but they just took the one camera in a factory box. I was stupid, but ended up lucky.

I see tons of kids down town and not a one of then has even a slim chance of getting a job, well the girls maybe because they all look like porn stars by 14 but the guys with there fucking ear things you know those big hoops that scream unemployable,
that’s why you cant pump your own gas in jersey its the only place left for them to work, the south Americans out work them every where else, we have like 30 people working in the plant, not one of them under 30, and only 2 locally born, I have tried to hire young local guys for good jobs they never last, some no more than a few days,

Matt - By modifying, I mean filling back in cylinder studs in the engine cases and remilling and tapping for the slightly different stud pattern if you bore is correct with the stroke. Not as easy as the Metra or Malossi, but the new Polini Evo 94 is boasting 32-36 horsepower with the new port map and bridged exhaust..etc. It be all fluff of advertising, but man is it tempting. The new Stage6 Modular MKII is interesting also because of the way the cylinder mounts with no long studs and just a adapter plate...the cylinder and head can be removed very easily and as one unit even to gain access into the cases. The only thing that worries me in some of the kits I've seen, is that some have a exhaust transfer that comes and meets into the case on the bottom...which is a little funny, I don't know if all the Derbi/Minarelli engines will work with that and have enough meat in the cases to case match without adding material. I've been having big dreams for my Derbi "Black Fly"...or, I've now come to call it, my "Spanish Fly".

Sorry to highjack this thread with my ramblings.

If this bike is still available in a few weeks and I can't find a good better specimen...which I doubt I will. I'll be here for ya.

there are alternatives that work with the am6/ derbi platforms... there isn't as much meat there as you think there is when you are considering punching it out to a 94cc .... the cranks are different too the 94 cc kits don't necessarily give you more power but they change the powerband

trust me.. i know.
