ok I've read and heard a lot you talk about disc vs drum brakes.. I was just thinking before I put a lot of money into my disc juice brakes. for a LOT less I can run mechanical brakes from a cj360 and just swap the front wheel.. I think it looks cooler too. however can I just do that? will a cj wheel go on cb forks? are hydrolic disc or mechanical drum better.. give me some insight?

Wheels & forks are shared between cj & cb. Identical parts. Same wheel as cb 350, too. Didn't we just go over all this in another thread?

No apologies necessary. Word is drums are at least as good on these old Hondas, but I have no firsthand experience with anything but drums. The drum brake stops my cb360, no problem.

the other thread is on the same page as this...

if you treat your drum right being able to stop is not the question or concern...
