ok i have a 73 cb350 with a disk brake and the fork leggs that go with them now can i use them for a drum brake set up? what other stuff will need to switch disk over to the drum set up.

Yep...I have disk brake forks on my drum brake 175.
You'll probably need to make up some spacers to center the new hub in the forks. You'll need a place to anchor the drum brake stay rod...usually one of the caliper mounting holes will work. And of course a cable to fit the new brake and a lever.
