Holy balls! I did not even look at the original post date. Just saw this pop up on active threads this morning. 2004, I think I was In Yakima WA bitching about the heat and having to do Army training exercises in full MOP gear

Could have been worse. At least it wasn't Afghanistan in the middle of summer and your MOPP included Green/black camo because they didn't have any desert gear handy. If they didn't expire from the heat, they made an excellent targets. That was the CDN Army though..... slightly different operation. No ICBM's but we could drop a SeaKing on their heads.

We called it Yakistan because it is apparently pretty damn close, minus the IED's
