Hey folks, I've found a CB175 in very good condition for a fair price and I'm thinking of buying it. Yeah it's a small engine, but it's what I've been looking for. Not really looking for anything too powerful.

Anyway, before I pick it up I wanted to know if the bike would make a good base to build off of? Are parts readily valuable for it? Mainly clip ons, rear sets and seat.

Would love any advice up front before I drop the cash. Thanks.

What year? The later, vertical clyinder bikes are real easy to find parts for, the slopers a bit harder.

There is a group in the Pacific Northwest that races those things, so bolt on parts are available, but not cheap since they are made in small quanities.

Check out group W racing. There should be some links to 175 stuff there. Obviously you have a verticle 175.
