I purchase this tank years ago, It was with a bunch of crap, you could tell it was not a piece pos so I grabbed it. Vehicle Motor vehicle Auto part Car Engine
Automotive exterior Auto part Metal

The other day I came across this photo of a Dreasa cb750 project in the U.K. It looks like the same tank. Is there ant way to tell if it is a Dresda

I don't think that Dave Degens made his own tanks. Last I heard he was still running Dresda Motors and building bikes. http://www.dresda.co.uk/

Give him a call or send an email

Degens never made his own tank. He used several suppliers over the years, Lyta in Dartford and JPT in Swancombe to name just two.

Dave is less involved today in his mid 70's but he's still seen around at autojumbles and South of England events. He sold up his old house and big workshop and moved further south into the Horsham area. He's an engaging character and still runs a smaller version of Dresda Autos.
that tank is huge!, is it 7 gallons?
The shape is very similar to a tank I brought back from the UK a few years ago. That one was for a TZ350 and was sold as an IOM tank ie longer range. The description also suggested Maxton but it didn't look like a tank from any Maxton framed TZ I had looked at. Could it be Asa Moyce (Bartel) ?
