what kind of horses do you have?

I used to have an own son and grandson to Burt Reynolds Top Quest Appy

liver chestnut with a big chromey faces

big chrome blankets with great spots

striped hoofs

and lightning marks on his pasterns that came onto his fetlocks

Great photos! Is that the London to Brighton run? I'm trying to remember but I think the brits call the "leg armor" Puttees. Don't question me I'm guessing.

I like them 65 bucks worth if they don't smell lke urine on really old people or a wet dog

and they are size 9 or 43

and he won't try to bend me over on shipping

in fact, I'd rather give him 65 shipped for them and he'd do it if he loved me

what color would you describe them as, verigated?

Hack-
No detectable old person who's pissed themselves, or wet dog smell. At least not to me.

Size?- Certainly some where between a 9 and 43, OK maybe a 8 1/2. I can measure heel to toe, if it helps.

I would be doing the shipping, so no, I won't bend you over. The dealer can eat a few bucks, and if I ship via mail, I think $65 would get it done.

Color?- Much less red then in the pic, more a well patinaed chocolate. Small cut you can notice in the pic on the outside top of right boot. Soles in very good condition, leather is fairly dry, could probably use a good saddle soaping if you plan on wearing them. Otherwise a very cool pair of old riding boots.

Wear them on the next London to Brighton run, or the next time you're invited to go fox hunting with Ralph Lauren. You'll fit right in.

cheers- leo

Just an aside here, but saddle soap is only good for cleaning leather, it doesn't restore it and in fact if not treated properly after the cleaning it will dry it out even more. You need a product that will add "moisture" to the leather to restore the suppleness....
