i ran the s on my race bike for years. never had a problem. its now living in another racebike. its the one for the 500 550 and 750. i only know of one that failed. and i have it on the bench. the pickup has failed. the nice thing is you can run them with stock coils. its a clean swap for the points. they are easy to install, and once in, you wont even remember you have it.

dont know about the 2k though

i've had the same dyna s on 3 bikes now, still works perfectly, the 2000 is more of a race piece i've been told. also been told that you need to run a 3 ohm coil with the dyna s. the stockers are 5. over time the difference will cause damage to the ignition i'm told by ken at cycle exchange. the money spent on the ignition is so well worth it. theres one less variable (points) when tuning your bike now.
