you should be able to get a decent bike, say a 550, do tires, brakes, a pipe, bars, chain. fork seals, cables, wheel bearings and a tuneup for under 2500.

my bike was 650, tires and tubes another 275, brakes say 50, tailight 35, bars were 35, then i bought a mac 4-1 for it 200. (which i used then took off cause it was crap) so its doable. you just gotta hold out for the right deal.

youre such a dork. no tex, those arent your pipes, those are mine. i have yours on there now and the baffles have given up on those too. mine were actually nicer looking, but yours worked. now yours dont really work anymore. i already gave away my 4-1, so im looking once again for a decent set of pipes. i wish i could have grabbed the ones that ianucci was selling back in december. god, i still think about not being able to get those. yours have the acid bath mess on one side and the chrome isnt as nice as mine. so i dont know what im going to do now. mine look better, and actually sound nicr, but i cant stand the sound of the baffle rattling around in there. sucks.

but yes, those are the bars i got from you. that picture was taken last fall. its not as pretty anymore. the winter wasnt too nice to it. the seat split from the cold, and the pos chinese tailight has fallen apart. and your pipes are a little rustier looking. ive put 10k on the clock since last summer though. so i guess its to be expected.
