So I've started to tear down my bike and go through the electrical system and have a few questions. I know am going to have to replace parts of the harness, speaker wire was used for some the the lighting, but don't know about connectors. Are the honda style connectors still out there or am i going to have to find something new. Any suggestions on what kind of conntors to use?

The bullet connectors are still available - Check mikexs for a cheap source. They're smaller than the US-standard bullet connectors. I don't know about the other connectors (ignition switch and alternators).

There is some guy on ebay selling complete terminal kits for Japanese bikes with all the right crap and a crimping tool too. Looks like good stuff. But you gotta pay like $70 for the whole kit.

I am going to need to get some of those snap in Bullet connectors too.

So i picked up some of these posi-lock connectors and gave them the test, put some wire on and started yank'en on it. Ended up pulling off the insulation. Their stonger then anything I've ever crimped. On top of that their reuseable, I might even redo the whole system with these. Thanks for the post.
