it was in the low 60s Fahrenheit!
Dealing with the cold just takes conditioning. It's 52F here today, T shirt weather to me. If this were spring then anything above 40F, without wind, and I would be back to T shirts. I don't turn heat on in the shop until it gets to freezing and then it is more because of the metal tools sucking the heat from your hands, than my hands discomfort.

Layer up, spend time outside and by the time the deep cold hits you'll be much more comfortable with it.
