Ok,
Well it was a nice day out today and I decied to push out my personal rd400 up a flight of stairs and out side for a blast around the neighboor hood. (Yeah I keep my yamie indoors) Well last summer I muched through a right hand side cover because the casting around the kick starter cracked and allowed the kicker to flex. Well much to my dimay I got a used cover from Motorcarrea and GOD DAMIT I never realized it but that on it cracked too. FUDGE NUTS. Same spot. Whats the deal here RD owners? I have had a few rd's but on this one with the raised comp ratio she is just eating side engine covers like nuts. Any fixes or ideas? Any input would be great.
