I went to Harbor Freight last month to check out their english wheel...i have to say it seems kinda shitty (it is harbor freight, afterall), but for around 350 (including the high crown dies, tax, etc), its still not a bad deal...its one of those things though, where, for a couple hundred more(499) you could get a MetalAce (made in U.S., solid craftsmanship)...

also, i think its one of those HF "permanent sales" sorta deal, so there's no rush...

Imo, the HF English Wheel would be great to practice on, then re-sell it and buy a good one.

My dog is concerned about the economy. ALPO is up to 99-cents a can. That's almost $7 in dog money.
