I'm experimenting with a new exhaust pipe for my SR500 and would like to use a finned flange like many of the Honda models use. I'd need 43mm I.D. for 8mm studs spaced 63mm cntr. to cntr. Has anyone got one they could measure up for me and get my search pointed in the right direction? Thanks much,

you could make one from aluminum. chris made his own. and i think jb runs non stock ones. and ive seem them for various bikes, not specifically the sr though. but that doesnt mean they arent made.

I made sets for both my 175's...but they are a freakin pain the ass to make. Pretty much have to machine them out of solid stock. Takes hours and hours to make a set.
Frankie C. should do up some CNC files and make batches of them for various bikes...they'd sell.

I know M. Bateman has had some test casts done for 175 finned alloy flanges.

I'd want about $150 to machine a set...and I'd still be frowning when I did the work.
