FCB entry
Baker was smoking again.
Clancy, Mike O and I had a good battle for 2nd right up to the final turn. Joe your bike looks great!

Didn't see much racing but Johnny B and Mary took home a couple of 1st I think.

I stalled on the start grid for LWSV. what a dope!

Joe Ruth did well I believe, at least a 2nd.

Good clean racing and the ambulance never moved. One oil cleanup during the afternoon. Super weather, rain held off until the award ceremony that was staged outside.

Lots of smiles and good times

Where was Aaron?

what a great day. some good cafe results. jersey girl gets my nod for star of the weekend. in her first race day, she not only rode well but raced well too. some folks with experience do one without the other. johnny b. gets a close second in my book for high grade performer for the event.

Just got home! Tired, hungry and happy.

FCB! What a hoot, but what the fuck does clancy panty have under his legs! That shit just flies! Tex you should call him out as a cheater (joke). I got 5th.

My biggest highlight was having Mike O beat Joe on the last lap crossing the checkered for 3rd.

Jam614, u were looking good out there and 2nd - not bad. I diced it up a bit w/ you during rainy VC.

Overall, all was good. Except for Rookie George going down on T3 w/ Yoohoo dude in LWSV. Get better bro.

Tex I missed you. I had a big chocolate covered heart! Next time sugar.

Monkey, I'll get you next time...

Oh, Aaron just didn't have the Mojo. But he'll be back. Seth did good. Vile never saw him, probably because I was in front of him :)

Yo....team Clever Dog was undefeated in every race we entered. Took ULWSV, 200gp and SuperVintage 50 baby!

200gp even though Team CamelHairy put Matt on Hiroshi's 200 just to tweak me (ringer)....which he did for about six laps.

Lonewolf is the man right now in FCB at Loudon. That class is getting fast as everyone gets their bikes dialed in.

I tried to kill Jersey Girl in turn eight but missed by about 8 inches. Didn't even phase her....I think it scared me more than her. Given the seat time I have no doubt she's going to be a serious contender if she keeps racing. Seriously...someone said she was doing low 1:40's, I expect that will drop by five seconds before the end of the year.

FR...sorry I didn't have more time to BS with you....but we had three bikes in four races and it was just hard to find time...and when I do have time....I just want to sit there and stare for a while.

All in all a great day...amazing the amount of vintage racing they crammed into this event...everything went smooth as glass.

Only glich for me was going balls to the wall in the second practice and looking down, noticing the right top fork clamp bolt was just spinning around from the vibration....and then seeing that the left top fork clamp bolt was not even there anymore. Note to self...when changing fork height...retighten ALL the bolts.

I was right behind Barry Sanel on the YooHoo bike when George T-boned him. Looked like he just overcooked the corner on the inside. That looked bad and I thought for sure the race was going to be red flagged. Happy to hear that both were somewhat OK. Actaully I was thinking, thank god I wasn't in Barry's position.

Alskee, I meant to come over and introduce myself. You must have been close enough to see the front of the pack. Good ride man.

JohhnyB, Where's my Clever Dog Sticker?

Tighten those nuts...

Oh yeah, nice meeting ya Champ. You rule.

Who's going to Quebec in two weeks with VRRA?

Sounds like you guys had a good time. I would like to watch some of these races but can't seem to get the schedules right. Do you guys just race the vintage stuff??

It takes a good 20 years to break a motorcycle in and after 30 "there back in style". Why buy a new one?

I GOT BEAT BY A GIRL!! Kerry did an excellent job out there. Very smooth and predictable. She had motor on me but I was passing her in the corners-inside-outside and not once was she fazed. I went around her in t9 riding on my exhaust and fairing which was holding me up while the back tire was sliding out!!

Kerry, I'm proud of you(tear in my eye!)

Johnnyb, good on ya.. I had nothing for you. I blew the start, my clutch was slipping and the power was flat-enter 2stroke jetting?

Very good day of racing. Weather was fantastic and the grids were quite full. Great day. Everybody was riding really well.

Rosko nice move in T3 up the grass. HAHA, I latered Matt!!

Good to see everybody and looking forward to seeing you all real soon.

Put me down for a Kerri Smith fan club shirt please.

More, different ignition problems on the 175 coupled with an oil weap forced me to park it for the day. Soon I hope to complete an entire practice.
Good race between JohnnyB and MattC in 200GP. Really fun to watch Joe Ruth racing the oldest RS125 there and doing well.
Nice to see Monkey,Rosko,Craig641,Alex doing well. Evil- still dig the MT. Watching Steve Baker haul makes me want to move to Maine and learn carpentry.
next time

I never thought I would wish a summer away, but can anyone make September 3 come sooner. I was not meant to be an armchair racer, and I won't be!

Peter,

Is there another track that would have vintage racing before then? I would like to get out there, but I won't race after August 15th (my business is seasonal and I make all my income Sept to Dec-can't afford possible injury).

Who was it in the 50cc race that was passing around the outside in T3 through the gravel and grass and kept going? I was in the stands and it was big crowd pleaser.
JohnnyB

PS. Anyone heard from Aaron yet??
