I'm from holland and just wanted to introduce myself

Im 27 rocker from holland just bought myself a new old Honda cb 500 f cafe style (not yet my style it looks a liitle to modern at this stage (the number 46 will go off first then the seat and tank)but just wait and see in a few weeks) It has cost me EUR 800 and runs great has app 18000 miles on it ans was built 1975. Let me know what you think of it.

Anyone know where to find pins and patches?

I'm already a member of the ace cafe club and the roadrocket club

What is the cafe scene like in Holland?
Is it hard to ride in those pointy wooden shoes? JUST KIDDING!

Welcome to the club, Bike looks pretty awesome as is. My wife is from the Netherlands. We are headed your way on March 16th. Weather has to be better over there. Up here in Maine it really bites.
Anyways, your a nut for driving around in Holland with a bike. You guys make us look like wimps on the road.

welcome, I like the bike. I'd get rid of the seat too. you're right, too modern looking. for some reason I kind of like the tires with the lines and writing. but they wouldn't work for me cause they'd probably cause me to slide out when I get that low on the tire <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hi I already bought a new rear seat a manx replica and a new pipe. Bought myself a 2ndhand 60ties jacket and helmet an white silk scarf.

when changing the oil I screwed the oiltplug on to tight and my carter pan cracked but here in holland there are a few specialised shops for honda cb and 2 days later there was a new one brought to me by the postman (I love internet) only 48 Euro with sealt bolts ect

Cafe scene in holland is big for such a small country I am a member of the roadrocket club in Holland and we have about 280 members if you guys want you can sign up and also become a member it will cost arount 10 USD per year visit http://users.raketnet.nl/roadrocketclub/ and decide for yourself you can also buy a pin and patch if you want.

guys, i think we have a keeper!!!! i think wwhat he is looking for is a pins or patches for the caferacer site. i dont think there are any. obvioulsy, you can get t-shirts. and there were some stickers kicking around for a short time but i think they all got lost last year at the track.

oh yeah, and welcome and thats a kicken little bike, and what you got against rossi?? just kidding.
