hey guys, ive got a nice looking rear wheel i bought on ebay. it was supposed to be the front but the guy sent me the wrong thing. it says 78 77 73 cb750 and 78 cb550. its spoked so a k model. 17"x2.50. the hub is clean. some very light pitting. i mean very light. the spokes arent rusted. the rim has some light rust but not severe. it could be cleaned up and polished probably. the rim has a dent in it that i dont think would affect the bead setting. but its kinda ugly. other than that its pretty nice. if you want a pic, i'll get one out. i'll trade it for something for my racer or street fighter 350 or pay the shipping on it and its yours. you guys would probably know better than i would what and if it'll go on.
it'd lace up to a new alum rim with stainless spokes really nicely.

I would guess that it should fit all 750's until and including 78 and might very well fit 550's

i thought he left the 16th. yeah, i guess that is almost 2 weeks. hes probably running around like a maniac mispronouncing german words and being all sly. god knows what hes buying and trying to get back through customs. i can see it now, a aermacchi motor in a plastic bag at the customs search desk. and aaron standing there trying to reason with the agent. whens he come back anyway?? i just missed him while i was in boston. he dropped me a new tire and the vids i gave him last year. he was bummed we couldnt hang with mike and go for a beer. oh well. catch ya later

knowing virtually nothing about shafties, i couldnt tell you for sure. im pretty sure i think ive seen it done on bimmers though. im in maryland. finding the fronts in good shape with original rims is a little tougher.
