then frame jigs must be for wizards. As soon as he cut it in 2 places the cuts no longer lined up, if that's not a clear indication the frame backbone already shifted out of align. It will flex and wiggle way more then normal for a little while before it breaks a back, maybe two if somebody is riding it at the time. Some fruit loops have no clue how much stress there is on a motorcycle frame and how light duty run of the mill UJM motorcycle frames are constructed. If it's going to be parked in a cafe somewhere and only looked at it will last forever, but then that would make it something other then a motorcycle, at best that would make it a big lump of rolling art that a motorcyclist might appreciate looking at, or possibly point and laugh at.

Man... at that point why bother putting that tractor motor in it...

It would be interesting but as close as you are much too far for a casual riding session. Not to mention my crappy spinal issues.

See what I mean about too easy to find reasons not to ride. Trials riding isn't very hard on your spine, there is no seat, you ride the pegs 100% of the time, if you can stand up and bend your knees you are good to go, all it takes is time and money. Winter riding season has officially started here, three inches of fresh snow fell last night mounting studded tires on the Montesa today so I can go for a blast.

I was attempting to get that E-Bike. I do want to get a trial bike to see what I can do. It's not any of the riding that concerns me. It's the expected get-offs. For example see youtube video Trial&Fail!

You do learn to crash good after a few hundred times, but trials bike crashes are no worse then falling off your feet. The riders are the lucky ones, all it costs to ride here is to sign a waiver acknowledging that I am a totally irresponsible person, there is no other place like here to ride dirt bikes, that's why I do it. Had to bush build the special tool for my studs just now, happy to say it turned out as good as the ones you buy required a sacrificial nut driver, an angle grinder and a hand file to make it perfect. Plan is to invite a dozen or so riders out this weekend to explore new trails, build a big camp fire, put a bunch of meat on the smoker for lunch and ride everything we can we been doing that most weekends for 3 years now, it's a blast.

Sounds right. I don't even care if someone gets me a gift just don't be a dick all the other days of the year & we are good.

Come to the conclusion; Snowmobiles are still slightly boring but they sure do pack the snow covered trails down good for the motorcycles now if you could just give them tight turning radius and build them to handle steep drops, big rocks and jump over fallen trees a lot better, you'd really have something there

Too big and too expensive, plus you seen how much they want for those things! Widetrack looks like a better setup but any ski up front makes for a moto that doesn't like hitting rock or jump over logs at all. My place is all kinds of rock and trees, needs a wheel or track up front to make it so I can follow the motorcycle trails or go where the studded enduro bike already go. Enduro bike with studs can handle a foot of snow and still chew through it into something solid. Snow covered anything that is too heavy to pick up or make a 180 degree turn is a big problem. The little SnoScoot climbs hills amazing, but not good for turning radius, you end up picking it up to turn it lots.

Three of us rode all day today, it was a blast, snow conditions were greatly improved for both the enduro bikes and the trials bike. The snoscoot is working out great for trail grooming. I was experimenting with just a few grip studs on the front tire instead of sheet metal screws and you can really feel the grip studs improving the steering control, another 4 or 500 bucks worth of carbide tire studs should help
