Sweet ride  for a Ducati, says the MV guy
If you buy that bike make sure you ask for any available original parts to be thrown in, he probably has some.
Unless you are volunteering to do the annual carb service I am not into it.

You may know the guy or the 6 degrees of separation. Click on his listings and he has a Montessa for sale.

Annual carb service? In 30+ years of owning Ducatis I've never heard of an annual carb service. Ride it more than once a year and that isn't a thing. ;)

That said... I'll put on my grumpy old man hat and point out there wasn't a CR in 1991. That bike is higher spec than the CR was when it came out - a half fairing does not a CR make.

And that was never any kind of superbike. FFS It has "Super Sport" in the model name. As opposed to the 851 which was literally a Superbike; it raced in the Superbike class, and had "Superbike" written on the tail to remind everyone.

It's a nice bike. No need to screw up the ad with terms that don't apply and make people wonder what else in the ad is fiction?

Don't recognize the Montesa, it's too nice to have ever been ridden in competition, or at my place lol
His asking price is actually reasonable, they are built super rugged and ride very settled, good entry level ride. You can use or take parts right off that bike and put them onto almost any year model 4RT and the most engine service you are likely to ever need is a valve clearance adjustment.

2017 are the worst front brake mono bloc callipers they ever put on the 4RT Montesa the pistons on one side are prone to corrosion and stick, then your brakes work harder on one side, you need to change the fluid frequently to avoid that, or go with mineral oil instead of DOT fluid.

This seems like a nice deal at $4500.
