Got a question for ya

First I want to say hello. I've been poking around on here as a guest for a short time, and I love the site. I have a CB550 that I have had 8 years and have always wanted to make a caferacer out of it. But you know how things go with work, getting married, and now a little one on the way its been on the back burner for a while now. So I will learn all I can now so when the time comes I will be good to go.

Now for my question. My bike hasn't been out since 05 and I just got her goin last weekend. The good thing is I think I finally found what was blowing my main fuse. (looks like the connection in the fuse block is loose) Well when I first got it out the front breaks were hanging up on it a little bit but they loosened up. So I didn't worry about it. I have been riding the last couple of days. Well now I'm at work at and the damn thing is hung up again. It's so tight that I have to give it a lot of gas to get it moving. I got some tools and am going to take it apart and see if I can get it loose again. Do you think I need to get a new caliper or does it just need to be worked a bit to loosen up? Thanks for your time Tony

Well I ended up getting it loose. I gave it a few good whacks. I think I am going to go ahead and rebuild it. Thanks for all the info guys.
