The CR Dustall Project (Grandpa) is finally winding down to almost being COOL
There was lot of collecting over the years to get to this point.
The only thing that I didn't modify, weld, or machine on was the frame
and swing arm.

Wheels, hubs front end rotors brakes etc are from new old bikes of different makes and models.

but like I said, its almost COOL

and for a little comparison, there is the mighty 02 RC51 (Young whipper snapper)
but if you ask me there is no comparison

long live the SOHC Honda's and the people that ride these classics
everyone has there own definition of what COOL is and this is mine

Enjoy all

Thats a ARD Magneto ignition that is belt driven off of the left side
where the points use to be........with this type of ignition you don't need a battery, a charging system or coils

In my opinion you've bypassed "cool" and ended up somewhere north of BADASS...

That beast is wayyyy BEYOND cool. I can dig the bike as a whole, and really like the color combo. Props!

Don't get me wrong, I love the bike, but where does the "Dunstall" bit fit in? Is it a sort of Dunstall homage or just Paul D's footpegs or? I don't quite understand it. I like it, I just don't get it.

Well the Dunstall part is for the fairing, rear sets, clip ons.
Sense these items are Dunstall
The CR part is for the Seat and tank

Rear sets yes, clip ons, can't see, but sounds good. Fairing I think is Bill Chuck copy or Curley. Not Dunstall, but still an interesting bike. Love that ARD magneto. Haven't seen one of them for a long time.

Well yes the alternator is on the other side of the bike and If I where running a total loss system I could do away with the battery, charging system, and coils. but I would have to rig up a small battery to power the head light, tail lights. The mag on my bike is just for show. I run a Dyna 2000 system and Dyna coils............. I could never get the mag to work right plus I didn't have all the parts to boot
