We are having really nice weather right now. The wind is blowing out of the north at about 30 knots gusting to 45. The windchill should get to 35 to 50 below. I can hardly wait. My poor dog is so bored being stuck in the house that she tore the trash apart for the first time in years. Here is a picture from out my window looking at the village. You will notice a Honda 4 wheeler in the foreground peeking out of the snow.

Dang...that's nice compared to upstate NY. We got 40mph winds and 5 below (not counting wind chill last night). If you include taxes it's WAY worse here.

It might be bad in NY now, but we have already had 3 months of this and 4 more to go. The good news for us is that it is starting to stay light longer. It is starting to get light about 10:30 am now and it is still light at 4:30 pm when I leave school.

Huh. I bet you have to walk uphill in that stuff when going to school AND when going home.
