Anybody here seen or did a cafe style Suzuki GT750 Lemans? Any opinions or likes or dislikes on the idea. The reason being is I have a low mileage 1974 that I dont know what to do with. Its not worth anything so, In the spirit of Caferacer.net i am considering getting out the flat black paint and seeing what happens.

race it
there's a guy who races one with us. I think he's even from Maine. might not be a great starter bike though.

either way you should turn it into something badass. could be a fun project.

I dont know JD, shes a tank. for a while I got discouraged looking at it. but all that motor is starting to look kinda Bad. Plus id like to have a bike to chase jason around with on the weekends. I think hes a little itimidated by the VFR. Cant say I really blame him though. I still have his old(blue)550f that I might keep, I dont know, hey got any more room in that apartment for more bikes? heh heh.
Im going to post that 550 o your site!

jd, if youre talking about steve hayslip, he actually lives in colorado. yeah, he drives further than me!! (i think he lives in maine in the summer maybe though) that bike youre talking about is black too. and it is one of the most evil sounding machines at the track. one of those bikes that makes hair on your neck stand up. it just sounds mean nasty and terrible.

You know Nick, pretty good recognizing the mg by the little you see in the pic. Can you tell me what model, yr? Maybe we should start a weekly pic guessing game or something.

Guy, definately a midget. Pre 1971. No rubber-baby-buggy-bumpers.
And the cookie goes to Nick.
I have a friend that could tell you the VIN, build date, trim codes, mileage, last time the oil was changed, and other trivium; just by looking at a partial picture. (only 60s Mustangs though.....)

Righto on the 1965 Midget, Mileage unknown. It has to have the worst paint job ive seen in a while. but my wife loves it. Its like some girls only see through foggy eyes or something. I take it that the engine doesnt really belong in the suzuki. MAybe JD would like it for his RD project. LOL.

I used to love Midgets, until I drove one. They have to be the most underpowered little machines. Fun otherwise. If I'm going to drive around looking at the undercarriage of F350s I'd prefer to have a little more power to get me out of harms way.
