The wife and I went to Bermuda, and one of the places we saw was the Transport Museum. Lots of old bikes and a few cars on display. Most of the bikes there were scooters, mopeds and small Hondas. But there were two full sized choppers on display. Have a look and guess what size engines they have.

Not 250.

We ate mostly on the ship. Three days in port we just made sure we were close to the ship around meal times. No sense eating overpriced island food that has to be imported and frozen (except for the seafood, of course)

150cc (I cheated and looked up their import law)
Yep. The jugs are about the size of an 883...... then you see this tiiiny little carburetor. They must have rods that are 6 inches long with a itty bitty crank throw. One was a Yamaha, the other a Hyousong.

They just sleeve them down like crazy and fit tiny pistons don't they?
... carb intake is likely restricted to compensate would be my guess

Closer to a 4-stroke chainsaw, after the muffler vibrates off,
and the only reason that sounds different then a 2 stroke chainsaw is because on the 4-stroke you can hear the tiny little poppet valves making that irritating Boit-a-bop, Boit-a-bop, Boit-a-bop sound.

Saw these at the AIMExpo last month. All the authenticity of a death trap hand built chopper made from cheap parts without...you know...actually putting in the time to build a death trap chopper from scavenged and cheap parts.

250 furious CC's of "Freedom"!!!!!
